Lovely Beaded Teapot

Lovely Beaded Teapot

I knew I had to make this teapot when I saw it in this month’s Bead & Button! It’s just so cute. Diane Fitzgerald has some cool designs, I’m looking forward to her new book called Shaped Beadwork…too bad it’s not out for Christmas.

I used oily (or semi-opaque) blue seed beads for this because I thought it would give a Wedgewood look. I used a cloisonne for the top. I didn’t have the right color drops, like used in the instructions, so I used some tiny stone beads I got in my Village Village stash! No clue what stone they are.

My mom basically claimed this before I was even done, so I’ll make another in oily green.
