Vineyard Freeform Peyote Cuff

November 14, 2008

Vineyard Freeform Peyote Cuff
This is my first attempt at freeform peyote. The green and purple makes me think of grapes.

It uses a lot of 3mm Czech firepolished rounds I got at Value Village…pretty amazing! I found a bag of old broken jewelery there for $5 and for some reason there were about 500 of these firepolished rounds in different colours. They were on strings mostly, so someone probably bought a bunch of stuff somewhere and (for some unknown and silly reason) decided to give up beading…either that or they had too many beads, if that’s possible.

I managed to scrounge up enough greens to make this bracelet. So, officially, this bracelet is both chic and cheap.

    Sistren Casey,

Not only chic and cheap, but add creative to the list!

I saw the image before I saw the text and what came to mind was a glass of wine shot thru with a ray of sunshine! Then I see that the piece reminds you of grapes!

    Bless Up,
    Lady Roots
